Privacy policy

Effective August 28, 2026

RoadsideHelp.com helps visitors find and directly contact companies serving their area. We limit data collection to what is needed to operate, protect, and understand the website.

Information used by the website

You may enter a city, state, ZIP code, service, or company name when searching. If you choose “Use current location,” your browser asks for permission before sharing coordinates. We use that location to produce nearby results; location permission is never required.

Our hosting and security systems may temporarily process standard technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and error information. This information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security.

Analytics and search-performance tools

Plausible Analytics

We may use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website activity, such as popular pages, referral sources, general device categories, and approximate visitor regions. Plausible is designed without cookies or persistent identifiers and reports aggregate trends rather than following individual visitors across websites or over time.

Read Plausible’s data policy.

Google Search Console

We may use Google Search Console, sometimes called Google Webmaster Tools, to understand how pages appear and perform in Google Search and to diagnose indexing, security, and website-quality issues. Search Console provides information such as search queries, impressions, clicks, indexed pages, and technical problems. It is not the same as embedding Google Analytics on this website.

Learn about Google Search Console.

Companies and external services

Calling a company, visiting its website, or otherwise contacting it takes you outside our direct control. The company and your telephone, browser, or communications provider may process information under their own policies. We do not sell visitor information or use it for behavioral advertising.

Future changes

We may evaluate additional tools, including session-replay or experience-diagnostic services such as FullStory. Such a service is not described here as currently active. Before enabling a tool that materially changes how visitor information is collected, we will update this policy and provide notice or consent controls when required.

Your choices

  • You can search by city or ZIP code without granting browser location permission.
  • You can decline or revoke location permission through your browser settings.
  • You can use browser privacy controls or content blockers that limit analytics scripts.
  • You can choose whether to call or visit a listed company.

Policy updates

We may revise this policy as the website and its services change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
